What conditions can a home physiotherapist treat?
Most conditions treated in a physiotherapy clinic can be treated at home. That includes back, neck, shoulder and knee pain, sciatica, sports injuries, recovery after surgery, stroke and other neurological rehabilitation, arthritis, and falls and mobility problems in older adults. The physio brings the equipment needed for assessment and treatment.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book a FlexAura physiotherapist directly without a GP referral. If you have symptoms that need urgent medical attention, such as those listed on each condition page, please contact your GP, NHS 111 or 999 first.

Very likely. The conditions above are the most common ones we treat, not a complete list. Call or WhatsApp us on 07782 610 633, tell us what is going on, and we will match you with a physiotherapist who has the right experience, or tell you honestly if physiotherapy isn't the right starting point.
How much does home physiotherapy cost?
A first home visit, including a full assessment and treatment, is £110 for 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are £99, and a package of 5 home visits is £450 (£90 a visit). An online video consultation is £45. You pay after your visit and there are no cancellation fees.
Is physiotherapy at home as effective as in a clinic?
For most conditions, yes. Your physio assesses and treats you in the same way, and exercises are set up around your own stairs, chairs and furniture, which makes them easier to keep doing between visits. Home visits are especially helpful after surgery, after a stroke, or when getting to a clinic is difficult.
